Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking an engineer to bridge AI silicon and networking through high-performance firmware. You will own low-level firmware for Ethernet MAC/PHY, SerDes bring-up, and performance tuning on complex platforms.

The role spans silicon bring-up, driver development, and optimization of link-training with collaboration across RTL, network software, and hardware teams. Hybrid work from Canada or the US.

Qualifications

• Experience in low-level firmware for network hardware.
• Familiarity with Ethernet PHY and SERDES.
• Ability to debug hardware-software interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low-level firmware for Ethernet MAC/PHY and SerDes.
• Lead silicon bring-up and validation of networking subsystems.
• Implement and optimize link-training and auto-negotiation protocols.
• Collaborate with silicon architects to influence next-gen networking hardware from firmware.
