Job summary

Jefferies is seeking an experienced ETF Trader to join its New York trading team. The successful candidate will facilitate client activity, make markets, and manage risk across a broad range of Equity and Fixed Income ETFs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of ETF trading or market making experience.
• Strong understanding of ETF market structure, liquidity dynamics, pricing, and execution strategies.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain institutional client relationships.
• Ability to manage risk in a fast-paced, dynamic market environment.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 57 licenses (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate institutional client trading activity across Equity and Fixed Income ETF universe.
• Make markets and manage principal risk while maintaining disciplined risk management practices.
• Provide liquidity and execution solutions to a diverse institutional client base.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted resource for ETF market intelligence.
• Identify trading opportunities and generate ideas that support client engagement and revenue growth.
• Monitor primary and secondary ETF market activity, including creations/redemptions, fund flows, and liquidity dynamics.
• Collaborate with Sales Trading, Cash Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Capital Markets teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Stay current on ETF product developments, market structure trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at expanding Jefferies' ETF trading franchise.
