Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Senior Estimator – Underground Utilities to lead estimating and bid preparation for major heavy civil infrastructure projects in the San Fernando Valley / LA County, California.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in heavy civil estimating, with 5+ years in underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain). This hands-on role requires bidding major infrastructure and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil estimating or preconstruction experience.
• 5+ years in underground utilities estimating (water, sewer, storm).
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM or Civil Eng.
• Ability to read plans, specs, geotechnical reports.
• Strong knowledge of labor productivity and costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for underground utility and heavy civil projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for water, sewer, storm drain.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.
• Review plans, specs, geotechnical reports, addenda.
• Lead estimate reviews with senior management.
• Mentor estimating/takeoff engineers.
• Manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
