Job summary

PURIS, a leading trenchless rehabilitation contractor, seeks an Estimator to prepare accurate proposals for private and public projects under the Area Director. You will analyze drawings, specs, and site conditions, gather input from field operations, and develop competitive estimates with emphasis on cost and schedule.

Responsibilities include reviewing take-offs, developing the bid package, and presenting estimates to senior management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ estimating experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AGTEK Take-off and Primavera.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely proposals and estimates.
• Review drawings, specs and site conditions; record findings.
• Analyze alternative construction methods to improve bid competitiveness.
• Present estimates to senior management and participate in bid reviews.
• Coordinate with field operations to ensure scope clarity and schedule alignment.
• Mentor estimating staff and lead preconstruction activities.
