Job summary

BBCH Support Services (BBCH SS), LLC is expanding its workforce and seeks an Estimator to lead pricing and bid development for complex, self-performed structural repair and restoration projects to support CSI-DC in the DC area. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and 10+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 10+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with concrete repair and self-performed projects is a plus.
• Ability to prepare estimates using units, labor, and material costs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and contract documents to develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Prepare bid packages for self-performed work including labor, equipment, materials, and subscope.
• Develop work plans and pricing for concrete repair, waterproofing, strengthening, and related scopes.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor quotations to ensure coverage and competitiveness.
• Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess conditions and risks.
• Collaborate with operations and project management to validate rates and schedules.
• Perform risk analysis and value engineering to protect margin.
• Maintain cost data and refine estimating tools and databases.
• Assist in post-bid reviews and handoff meetings to operations.
