Job summary

Big-D Companies in Lindon, UT seeks a Senior Estimator to lead bidding efforts and develop comprehensive estimates for diverse projects. You will define scopes, build relationships with subcontractors, and master quantity takeoffs using Timberline and OST tools.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction estimation, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong communication and team skills to drive profitable bids in a dynamic market. This role requires local knowledge of Utah subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree relevant to construction management or engineering.
• 5+ years of estimator experience in the construction industry.
• Construction field experience preferred and Utah market knowledge.
• Strong proficiency with Timberline, Bidday, OST, and bluebeam tools.

Responsibilities

• Define work scope and select subcontractors with Sr. Estimator.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and manage bids.
• Proficient in quantity takeoffs and organizing estimates in Timberline.
• Contribute to hard bid projects and design-build budgeting.
• Understand CPM scheduling and translate to construction budgets.
• Assist in VE processes and communicate scheduling expectations.
