Job summary

Big-D is seeking a dynamic Senior Estimator for our Lindon, UT office. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 5+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry.

You will be proficient in quantity takeoffs, Timberline, OST, and Bidday, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. The position includes standard benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Construction field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the subcontractor network in Utah market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines work scope and selects subcontractors in cooperation with Sr. Estimator.
• Develops relationships with subcontractors and considers relationship in decisions.
• Proficient in quantity takeoffs and organizing estimates in Timberline.
• Hard bid projects and organize scopes of work in Bidday program.
• Assist in design-build projects and communicate budgeting and scheduling with subs.
• Understand VE process and participate in working sessions.
• Support Big-D’s mission, values, and policies.
