Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an Estimator to plan and coordinate comprehensive project cost estimates for multi-year design and construction projects. The role is onsite in Overland Park, KS or Houston, TX, with collaboration across engineering, safety, and procurement teams.

You will prepare bids, maintain cost databases, and deliver data-driven insights for management. Strong communication and office software skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years of project controls experience on multi-year design/construction projects.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.
• Strong problem evaluation and solving skills.
• Understanding of project design processes and data management.

Responsibilities

• Create spreadsheets to track customer information and estimates.
• Convert hard copy data to digital databases and update records.
• Organize and maintain data in spreadsheets and databases.
• Prepare management reports highlighting trends and data insights.
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and management to identify improvements.
• Coordinate local bidding efforts with procurement, scheduling and project teams.
