Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Estimator for our onsite team in Houston, TX, or Overland Park, KS. The role centers on planning and coordinating comprehensive project cost estimates, determining contractor and labor needs, and maintaining cost databases for bid submissions.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5+ years of project controls experience on multi-year design and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; business/engineering/construction focus ideal.
• 5+ years of project controls experience on multi-year design and construction projects.
• Proven ability to work independently and with teams; strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and cost-database tools; data organization is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create spreadsheets to track customer information and estimates.
• Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database and update records.
• Organize existing data and verify accuracy for reporting.
• Prepare final analysis reports and coordinate with procurement and scheduling teams.
