Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a senior estimator in Atlanta to prepare budgets and bids for Clark projects. You will lead multi-discipline estimates, supervise junior estimators, and coordinate with subcontractors to develop complete scopes within a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

The role involves on-site site visits, collaborative bid strategy, and ensuring accuracy from initial estimate through final quotation, while upholding Clark standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years estimating and cost control experience.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Ability to lead or contribute on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with On Screen Take-off, Excel and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of local subcontractor market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specs, proposals to prepare time, cost and labor estimates.
• Lead or perform portions of estimates for multi-discipline projects.
• Supervise and train estimators in your primary area of expertise.
• Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotes and evaluate them for scope and qualifications.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors to develop complete scopes and discuss strategy.
• Perform risk and contract management responsibilities on bids.
• Review total estimate to ensure accuracy before quotation.
• Monitor comparison of estimated costs to actual costs.
