Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of estimating/project management experience in the construction field.
• Ability to lead a team in a collaborative manner.
• Previous experience in the millwork industry is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in problem-solving/analysis.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize, and implement alternate solutions.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Ability to travel to meet the needs of the role.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with General Contractors, Architects, Owners, and Consultants to create opportunities for Glenn Rieder.
• Develop, train, and provide leadership for the Estimating Department.
• Identify ways to improve contract gross margin during bidding.
• Review estimates for accuracy and coordinate with the team on scope.
• Participate in developing strategies to win projects with the Director of Preconstruction and President.
• Assign responsibilities for estimating team on each project.
• Review project documents and ensure complete scope.
• Summarize final estimates for leadership and highlight risks and opportunities.
