Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; 8+ years experience
• Experience in project engineering, field supervision or purchasing
• Strong communication and supervisory skills; proficiency with estimating software

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Preconstruction Manager in estimating functions during launch
• Coordinate trade partner bid lists for budgeting and bidding
• Lead review meetings with owner, architect, and engineer
• Prepare comparison analyses and explain variances to stakeholders
• Review design documents and request additional information needed for complete estimates
• Perform quantity take-off and studies for assigned trades and building systems
• Provide pricing for value engineering, alternates, options, and studies
• Utilize BIM for quantity take-off and visualization to support estimates
• Prepare trade partner bid proposal forms and bid recording sheets
• Ensure complete and accurate pricing within estimate or GMP
