Job summary

ReArch Construction is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our South Burlington, VT-based team. You will prepare budgets and pre-bid packages, develop estimates with PMs, and manage subcontractor bids while reviewing plans and specifications.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial estimating, a relevant bachelor’s degree (preferred), and willingness to travel throughout Vermont and New Hampshire for pre-bid meetings and site tours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in preconstruction/estimating on commercial projects valued $500K–$10M.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination considered.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, negotiating, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
• Knowledge of civil/site construction, foundations, structural systems, and green building practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, pre-bid packages, and full-scope estimates based on Design-Build and/or Construction Manager documents.
• Collaborate with general trades estimators and PMs to develop schematic and construction document estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and scopes of work; issue notices of award to subs and suppliers.
• Prepare quantity surveys and review project plans and specs.
