Job summary

Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead other estimators, oversee estimating efforts, and support preconstruction services across multiple market sectors. This role manages the bid process, coordinates with Owners, design teams, trade partners, and field teams, and implements the preconstruction plan to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience in commercial construction preconstruction or project management.
• Experience with CMAR and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods.
• Knowledgeable in construction means and methods, trades, and standard scopes of work.
• Strong ability to work independently and in a team, with strong math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate bid processes and assist in maintaining bid databases.
• Prepare formal Trade Partner and Supplier bid scope packages.
• Create project estimates and revisions; perform quantity takeoffs and specification reviews.
• Lead and review drawings and specifications; manage preconstruction RFIs.
• Assist in developing preliminary project schedules and logistics plans.
• Lead value analysis efforts and provide document management during preconstruction and estimating.
