Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation in Overland Park, KS is seeking an experienced Estimator to assist with lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus estimates and to support pre-construction activities. You will coordinate estimates across disciplines, review designs for cost effectiveness, and maintain historical cost data to improve accuracy.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant estimating experience
BS or MS in Construction Management or related field preferred
Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities
Familiarity with cost data and productivity analysis

Responsibilities

Coordinate and consolidate discipline estimates into the Proposal Estimate
Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness
Perform productivity analysis of construction operations
Prepare contingency, escalation and reconciliation for estimates
Maintain historical cost data and support pre-construction activities
