JJS Group in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Estimator & Project Manager to manage the commercial bidding cycle and oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout.

You will perform digital takeoffs, read architectural plans, prepare bids, coordinate procurement, handle RFIs and change orders, and supervise 30–40 concurrent jobs with regional relocation support. Base salary ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 plus an annual performance bonus.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of formal commercial construction estimating & PM experience bidding directly to GCs on plan-and-spec projects.
• Open to diverse subcontracting trades across commercial construction domains.
• Mastery of contract documents: reading blueprints, elevations, specs, and GC subcontracts.

Aufgaben

• Plan & Spec Analysis: review drawings, CSI sections, wind-loads, and operator requirements.
• Digital Takeoffs: use Bluebeam Revu and estimating software to generate quantities.
• Bid Formulation & Scope: draft comprehensive proposals with inclusions/exclusions and substitutions.
• RFI & Addenda Management: issue RFIs and resolve plan discrepancies during pre-bid.
• GC Relationship Bidding: follow up on bids, negotiate scope, and secure awards.
• Contract & Scope Review: verify alignment of awarded subcontracts with bid qualifications.
• Submittal Management: prepare and submit product submittals for approval.
• Procurement & Vendor Coordination: coordinate orders and deliveries with manufacturers.
• Change Order Management: price and secure changes before work.
• Operations Hand-off & Billing: coordinate with installation teams for monthly progress billings.
