Job summary

LiRo-Hill seeks a Senior Estimator to serve as the owner's representative on a multi-billion-dollar high-rise design-build project in the Northeast. The role oversees all estimating and cost management to ensure budget and quality standards are met.

The candidate will lead cost control, review contractor estimates, develop budgets, and provide regular financial reporting to senior management. A minimum 5+ years in estimating on large-scale projects and proficiency with Primavera, Procore, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years estimating and cost control experience in construction, owner’s side preferred.
• Proven track record managing multi-billion dollar projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract structures, cost management.
• Proficient in Primavera, Procore, Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all estimating and cost management to align with budget and standards.
• Review and validate cost estimates from contractors and subs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets.
• Provide guidance for accurate, competitive cost estimates.
• Implement cost controls to monitor expenditures and risks.
• Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for leadership.
• Conduct risk assessments for cost and schedule impacts.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate risk management in planning.
• Lead and mentor cost control and estimating professionals.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on cost strategies.
