Job summary

GBA Builders in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the preconstruction and estimating process across Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Industrial, and Federal projects. This role develops complete estimates for submission, provides leadership throughout the estimating process, and guides team members to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive work products.

• 12+ years of relevant estimating experience.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor estimating staff.
• Experience with preconstruction and bid development for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team to ensure complete and timely execution of estimate deliverables.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify scopes and compile takeoffs.
• Solicit subcontractor proposals and build bid spreadsheets for competitive bids.
• Support conceptual estimating and ROM development with A/E partners.
• Develop, write, and deliver owner proposals aligned with project strategy.
