Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Estimator to assess project requirements, perform detailed takeoffs, and guide bids from inception to submission.

The role requires five years of construction estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners. You will lead budget reviews, train junior estimators, and develop reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant estimating experience.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods and processes.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Proficient PC skills including estimating software, Excel, Project and Word.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize design documents and specifications for estimation.
• Perform material takeoffs to determine quantities.
• Obtain unit prices from trade contractors and validate pricing.
• Lead bid tabulations and prepare hard bid submissions.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities and kick-off meetings.
• Lead budget reviews with architects, engineers and owners.
• Train and mentor junior estimators and team members.
• Develop project pursuit documents and reports for stakeholders.
• Attend meetings with architects, engineers and owners to discuss scope and progress.
• Maintain relationships with traders, architects, engineers and owners.
