Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating for architectural and engineering projects in the construction management team. You will drive detailed estimates across design phases and collaborates with design teams, contractors and clients to ensure financial feasibility and value engineering opportunities.

The role involves managing multiple estimates, reviewing bids, and supporting change orders while mentoring junior staff and upholding Parkhill's QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years estimating experience in architecture, engineering or construction services.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or civic projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software and strong QA/QC awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates at various design and construction stages.
• Review drawings, specs and docs to reflect project scope.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and PMs to align cost with design.
• Evaluate bids, proposals and subcontractor pricing for accuracy.
• Support change order evaluations and construction budget management.
• Mentor junior estimators and improve estimating processes.
• Ensure all estimating activities comply with QA/QC standards.
