Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel 20%–40%.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Mansioni

• Prepares design/build, engineer, construction management, GMP, and hard-bid estimates/proposals.
• Analyzes quotations prior to and on bid day.
• Evaluates bids of sub-contractors and suppliers for scope, delivery, and specs.
• Enters quantity take-offs and material unit pricing for projects.
• Recognizes and applies the work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Prepares opinions of probable construction cost estimates for disciplines.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes; reviews for completeness.
• Support coordination of overall corporate estimating functions.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
• Guide junior staff in estimating procedures and software usage.
• Manage bid day and close-out activities.
