Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking a Senior Estimator for PCI Cincinnati 581 operations, based in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves preparing RFPs, evaluating subcontractor bids, and leading the estimating team to deliver accurate cost analyses and compelling proposals.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of estimating construction projects and a total of 10+ years in the industry, with proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and Procore. Local candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of estimating construction projects experience
• 10+ years in the construction industry total experience
• Experience estimating or managing specialty scopes
• Ability to read specs and drawings for PCI scopes
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient with scheduling and cost analysis

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs for applicable scopes
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and bid documents
• Develop relationships with local customers to support PCI objectives
• Work with owners, managers, architects, engineers, and contractors
• Attend pre-bid site walk-throughs
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and estimates
• Write detailed proposals and ensure completeness
• Prepare bid analyses and financial job cost analyses
• Source subcontractors, materials, and equipment
• Provide training and leadership to Estimating team
• Participate in bid strategy meetings for major pursuits
