Job summary

Trueline, one of the country’s largest builders, seeks multiple Senior Estimators for its Portland, OR team on a hybrid schedule. You’ll lead estimating for sports, data center, federal, manufacturing, and ground-up projects, with base salaries up to $192,300 and incentives up to $211,500 in select markets.

Two senior levels exist: 6+ years for the standard senior and 9+ years for a senior leader. Portland is a priority region, with flexibility for regional consideration and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction estimating experience, including large, complex projects.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in CM, Estimating, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading estimator teams and managing multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Ability to build conceptual, detailed, and self-perform estimates from history.
• Proficiency with BIM, plans, and project documents for quantity takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts on large, complex projects from early design through final pricing and submission.
• Develop conceptual, detailed, and self-perform estimates and cost models including general conditions.
• Organize research, planning, pricing, scheduling, and submission of estimates.
• Lead, train, and mentor estimators, including performance evaluations at the senior level.
• Write and submit RFIs and align stakeholders on scope.
• Analyze historical data to price current work at unit-price and building-systems levels.
