Mortenson is seeking an experienced Estimator III to lead full estimates on large, complex projects. The role requires coordinating with staff at all levels, utilizing BIM and estimating software, and driving scope and budget alignment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Estimating, Civil/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of construction industry experience.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks across projects.
• Familiarity with building and estimating techniques and software.
• Proven capability to lead teams of estimators on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and schedule estimate preparation.
• Facilitate kick-off, status updates, and final reviews.
• Assign and adjust work to ensure complete estimates.
• Incorporate contract docs, design team, owner communications, and permits.
• Determine trade partner strategy and prepare bids/budgets.
• Review BIM and other documents for quantity takeoffs.
• Promote collaboration for scope and budget alignment.
• Complete changes from estimate reviews.
• Perform quantity surveys of materials/resources.
