MPI is seeking a Senior Estimator in Torrington, CT to lead the estimating department and manage end-to-end project estimates. The role involves collaborating with junior estimators and reporting to the VP of Estimating.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, a BS in engineering or construction management, and strong Excel/Suretrack/Timberline proficiency to deliver accurate bids under pressure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor.
• BS degree in engineering or construction management.
• Detail oriented with an ability to organize and manage detailed analysis.
• Experience with estimating, scheduling and/or project management tools.
• High competency with Suretrack, Excel and Timberline; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prepare project estimates start to finish.
• Report to VP of Estimating and coordinate with junior estimators.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate bids and timely submissions.
