Job summary

Brightcore Energy is seeking a Sr. Estimator to analyze project specs and drawings to produce accurate cost estimates for industrial projects. You will work with site teams, utilize HeavyBid and Bluebeam, and craft detailed bids across concrete, mechanical, and electrical scopes.

Strong research, communication, and analytical skills are essential. Expect collaboration with project managers and vendors, with opportunities to lead cost-optimization efforts and contribute to value engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years industrial construction experience with self-performed trades.
• 5+ years in takeoff, pricing, and full estimates organization.
• Experience from ground-up site/civil projects.
• Proficient in HeavyBid, Blue Beam, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications and drawings for accurate estimates.
• Estimate costs for construction based on technical requirements.
• Collect and analyze data on materials, labor, equipment, and tooling.
• Update costs based on scope changes and new information.
• Collaborate with site teams to gather estimation inputs.
• Prepare detailed estimates using HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Conduct research on costs for materials and labor.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids for projects.
• Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
• Engage in value engineering to optimize costs.
