Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word, plus estimating software.
• Experience with heavy civil projects, especially water/wastewater treatment plants and piping.
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff, vendors, and clients.
• Excellent time management and customer relations skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to assist with writing proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for estimates and proposals, including cost analysis and pricing.
• Oversee capital bids before submission and coordinate trade takeoffs.
• Delegate opportunities within the estimating team.
• Evaluate subcontract cost estimates and assemble final owner estimate.
• Drive National Opportunities Reporting and cost data comparisons.
• Negotiate with subcontractors during bidding and manage vendor lists.
• Ensure quality standards while handling high-volume bids.
