Job summary

S&B USA Construction & Fay is seeking a Senior Estimator in Glen Burnie, Maryland, focused on Heavy Highway and Heavy Civil projects. This role offers an exciting pathway for experienced project managers or engineers to transition into estimating.

The successful candidate will manage cost estimates, vendor quotations, and the mentoring of junior estimators while contributing significantly to project bids ranging from $10M to $100M.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years working in Heavy Highway / Heavy Civil projects preferred.
• Design Build/ P3 Experience is an asset.
• Experience supervising others is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand project specifications and drawings.
• Produce accurate take-offs and pricing for projects.
• Complete cost estimates on projects from $10M to $100M.
• Solicit subcontractors and vendors for quotations.
• Mentor younger estimators in the team.
