Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our heavy civil construction team in a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on developing accurate bids for roads, bridges, utilities, waterways, and other public infrastructure projects, with leadership growth toward an Estimating Manager position.

The candidate will lead estimating from takeoff to submission, review plans for pricing insights, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
• Experience with estimating software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead full project estimating and bidding from takeoff to submission
• Review plans and specs to identify price risks
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes for competitiveness
• Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork and structures
• Refine estimating processes for efficiency
• Schedule and lead internal bid review meetings
• Mentor junior staff and promote teamwork
