Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of heavy civil construction estimation experience.
• Hands-on field experience in heavy civil construction or related trades.
• Proven track record estimating public, federal, or government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of comprehensive estimates for government, federal, and union projects.
• Analyze plans, site specs, and requirements to project accurate costs.
• Collaborate with leadership and field crews to align estimates with execution.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and vendor proposals for cost efficiency and risk.
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities early in bidding to maximize profitability.
• Build relationships with public agencies, municipalities, and trade unions.
