Job summary

Michels Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring all requirements are understood to win the project. You will coordinate with subcontractors and project management teams to manage bids and budgets toward a successful award.

The role requires precision, strong numerical skills, and extensive MS Office experience, including Excel. Travel up to 25% will be involved as projects span across our utility infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required.
• Estimating experience or exposure to the utility industry is required.
• Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to ensure complete bid packages.
• Follow-up with subcontractors to ensure bids are received.
• Collaborate with Project Management to monitor bids and budgets to close the business.
