You will interface with clients, designers and subcontractors to ensure competitive, accurate bids. Ideal candidates hold a BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management with 5+ years in estimating and 10+ years in construction, with strong Excel and estimating software skills.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of estimating experience.
• 10+ years in construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with specialized estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Lead all estimating efforts on complex, large-scale projects.
• Build relationships with clients, designers and subcontractors.
• Analyze drawings, specs, proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Facilitate collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Lead business development activities, presentations and interviews.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing for materials and labor.
• Understand full project scope through document review and questions with design team and owner.
• Prepare value engineering and risk analyses.
• Prepare qualifications and assumptions for the estimate.
• Prepare cost comparisons and reconcile with prior estimates.
• Manage subcontractor solicitation and selection.
