Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of work experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Proficient in pre-construction estimating, cost analysis, and project bidding.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Primavera P6, Trade Tapp, Building Connected, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam).
• Proficient in MS 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects from conceptual to final estimates.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for input into estimates.
• Develop bidders list and invitation to bid for each project.
• Coordinate with Subcontractor Prequalification Coordinator to ensure trade partners are qualified.
• Prepare P6 preconstruction schedules and staffing plans.
• Prepare general conditions and general requirements estimates.
• Organize bid/estimate review meetings and revise documents as needed.
• Analyze drawings/specifications to confirm project requirements.
• Conduct risk analysis and mitigation planning for cost and schedule.
• Maintain relationships with trade partners and lead bid activities.
• Attend client interviews and meetings when applicable.
