Veracity Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead and develop our estimating function, focusing on accuracy, consistency, accountability, and strategic growth. You will oversee estimating operations, improve processes, and support bid strategy to position projects for successful execution.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep electrical construction knowledge, a passion for developing people, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical contracting experience with Estimating/Preconstruction leadership.
• Strong understanding of labor productivity, material pricing, procurement, and cost modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team with standardized processes and procedures.
• Oversee cost databases, labor units, material pricing, and estimating systems.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and aligned with company standards.
• Support bid/no-bid decisions with Business Development and Operations.
• Prioritize opportunities based on profitability, risk, and strategy.
• Implement risk identification, contingency planning, and scope reviews.
• Track key estimating metrics and workload capacity.
• Collaborate with Operations for smooth project handoffs and accurate data transfer.
• Communicate project scope, assumptions, qualifications, and risks.
• Mentor and develop estimating staff for long-term growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve estimating systems and processes.
