Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned electrical contractor leader to join our team for large-scale projects in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will manage bidding databases, review specifications and prepare accurate estimates to support winning proposals.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and city officials. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains bidding database
• Reviews proposal specifications, drawings and attends pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
• Reviews all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation; maintains margin in pricing
• Supervises and drives work to be accomplished in department
• Mentors and trains department personnel and project staff
• Interfaces with contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials
• Updates skills for software tools and technology utilized
• Makes site visits as needed

Job Details

• Must have 7+ years of experience

• Manages and administers department functions including operating budgets, staffing, work assignments, performance evaluations
• Reviews proposal specifications, drawings and attends pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
• Reviews all final estimate packages to insure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation; maintains margin in pricing
• Supervises and drives work to be accomplished in department.
