CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare design/build, engineer, construction management, guaranteed maximum price, and hard-bid estimates/proposals.

You will analyze quotations pre-bid, evaluate subcontractor bids for scope and timing, and perform quantity take-offs with material pricing using WBS structures. Travel 20–40% may be required, and a high school diploma with 8 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 8 years related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilités

• Prepares design/build, engineer, construction management, guaranteed maximum price, and hard-bid estimates/proposals.
• Analyzes quotations both prior to and on bid day.
• Evaluates bids of sub-contractors and suppliers for scope, delivery time, and specs.
• Enters quantity take-offs and material pricing for project.
• Recognizes and applies appropriate WBS structure.
• Manages bid day and close out activities.
