Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares design/build, engineer, construction management, GMP, and hard-bid estimates/proposals.
• Analyzes quotations prior to and on bid day.
• Evaluates bids of sub-contractors and suppliers for scope, delivery time, and specs compliance.
• Enters quantity take-offs and material unit pricings for the project.
• Recognizes and applies appropriate WBS structure.
• Processes and identifies complete scope with limited design definition.
• Prepares opinions of probable construction cost estimates for applicable disciplines.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes and reviews for completeness.
• Assists in coordination of overall corporate estimating functions.
• Contacts subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
• Provides guidance to junior staff in estimating procedures and software.
• Manages bid day and closeout activities.
• Performs additional duties as required.
