Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor for AMER infrastructure solutions. The role focuses on developing and managing cost estimates for data center projects, leading bid analyses, and overseeing change orders.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, finance and sales to ensure accurate costs and competitive pricing. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management, 7+ years in senior estimating, and proficiency with AccuBid, BlueBeam,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• Certifications (MRICS, PMP, Chartered Engineer) preferred.
• 7+ years in senior estimating or quantity surveying for large projects.
• Experience with data centers, MEP-heavy facilities, and tender evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and manage project cost estimates across the lifecycle.
• Prepare bid analyses, change orders, and contract-terms reviews.
• Support procurement, RFQs, and supplier pricing for cost efficiency.
• Maintain cost plans, WBS, and historical cost database for benchmarking.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, finance and sales.
