Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator for Corporate/Tenant Interiors to join our Richmond, VA corporate office. The role focuses on supporting the bidding process, coordinating bid dates, and overseeing buyouts.

A minimum of five years in corporate interiors estimating and strong RFI and negotiation skills are required. This on-site, permanent position offers growth opportunities, a competitive bonus structure, and a culture that values strong client relationships and precision in takeoffs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably Corporate/Tenant Interiors
• Experience managing contracts, bid dates, pricing scheduling, and the buyout process
• Strong technical skills to interpret drawings and perform takeoffs
• Experience in managing the RFI process and negotiating with stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, competitive bids
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate bid proposals
• Manage the bid process, including coordinating bid dates and pricing schedules
• Oversee the buyout process for projects
• Coordinate the RFI process with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Perform takeoffs to determine quantities and costs of materials, labor, and equipment
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Collaborate with project management to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
