Job summary

Jobot in Richmond, Virginia is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Corporate Interiors team. You will manage bid processes, interpret drawings, perform takeoffs, and coordinate buyouts and RFIs to win competitive proposals.

With 5+ years in corporate interiors construction, you will collaborate with Preconstruction leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget project outcomes and strong client relationships. This role offers growth, great benefits, and a 10%+ bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in the Corporate/Tenant Interiors sector.
• Proven experience in managing contracts, bid dates, pricing scheduling, and the buyout process.
• Strong technical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and perform takeoffs.
• Experience in managing the RFI process, with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and competitive bid proposals.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.

A bit about us:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team at our Corporate Office in Richmond, Virginia. This position is ideal for candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in corporate interiors construction.

As an Estimator, you will be a key member of the Preconstruction Department, supporting the bidding process for interior construction projects. You will work closely with the Director of Preconstruction and Project Executive of Corporate Interiors to ensure successful project outcomes.
