Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking an experienced commercial construction estimator focused on interior tenant fit-outs and retail tenant fit-outs. The role involves preparing estimates, reviewing drawings, developing schedules, issuing RFIs, negotiating with subcontractors, and coordinating with clients and the project team.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and comfortable traveling as required; hybrid work arrangement;

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required.
• Retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.
• Some ground-up construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings and bid documents to identify project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain construction schedules.
• Develop and issue RFIs related to drawings and bid documents.
• Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors on scope, price and terms.
• Interact with clients and subcontractors throughout the estimating and construction process.
• Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
• Utilize Procore to support estimating and project activities.
• Utilize Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
