Job summary

CooperWorks Industries is seeking a Commercial Millwork Estimator to review plans, prepare accurate cost estimates, and support sales and project management in bidding. Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills and experience with millwork or laminated products.

The role requires reading architectural drawings, conducting quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial millwork, casework, cabinetry, laminated products, or related construction industries.
• Experience working with commercial contractors, architects, and project specifications is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents for commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for laminated products, casework, countertops, and related materials.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assess labor, material, hardware, and installation requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Generate quotations, bids, and proposals within established deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, engineering, and production teams to ensure project feasibility and accuracy.
