Contract-Hardware is seeking a Senior Commercial Door, Frame & Hardware Estimator to lead high-volume cost estimation for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in the United States. Deep Division 8 knowledge includes hollow metal doors, frames, wood doors, and architectural hardware.

Formación

• Education: HS diploma required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated construction estimating experience, with specific expertise in commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware (Division 8).
• Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret construction documents; proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, Adobe, or specialized platforms) and MS Office.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of commercial hardware sets, door prep specs, installation techniques, and life safety codes.
• Performance Drive: Track record of managing high-volume bidding pipelines and hitting multi-million dollar targets.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Review, analyze, and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specs to determine material and hardware scopes.
• Conduct precise takeoffs for commercial doors, frames, and finish hardware.
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, freight, and contingencies using current pricing models.
• Prepare and submit formal bids and price quotes to general contractors within bid deadlines.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs while maintaining code compliance.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, takeoffs, and project documentation.
