Job summary

United Contractor Services, LLC is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to own Division 8 and 10 scopes from bid to closeout. You will price work for hollow metal doors, frames, hardware, partitions, and related items, then lead the project through procurement and field execution.

The role centers on numbers and details—you’ll verify specifications, write hardware sets, review schedules, and ensure pricing aligns with project requirements, while coordinating with field teams for on-time,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of combined estimating and project management experience on commercial Division 8 and/or Division 10 scopes, Division 8 preferred.
• Familiarity with door hardware terminology, hardware set structures, and fire/life-safety codes.
• Experience managing submittals, procurement, and change orders on commercial projects.
• Able to read architectural drawings and door schedules confidently.
• Proficiency with estimating, takeoff, and project management software; training available in-house.

Responsibilities

• Own Division 8 and 10 scopes from bid through closeout; price work and manage execution.
• Lead buyout and procurement, carrying pricing basis and hardware decisions to purchase orders.
• Prepare submittals, hardware schedules, product data, and shop drawings for approval.
• Track lead times, coordinate deliveries, sequencing, and installation with field teams.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and pay apps to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Close out projects with O&M manuals, warranties, and final hardware turnover.
