Job summary

Haydon, headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced Estimator to support negotiated commercial projects. You will work with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive cost evaluations from concept through final bid.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and 5–10 years of estimating experience, with strong MS Office skills and a proven ability to lead bid processes and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5–10 years estimating experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all discipline estimates for assigned bids.
• Lead the project from first estimate through subcontract formation.
• Ask the right questions to provide a complete project cost evaluation.
• Collaborate with customers to inform and empower them throughout the project.
• Provide innovative solutions to cost, lead-time, and material issues.
• Estimate across all scopes of work and track unit costs.
