CyberCoders is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead commercial construction estimating for ground-up and renovation projects in Ashland, VA. You will drive takeoffs, cost models, and bid packages while coordinating with project teams and trade partners.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of estimating experience, strong takeoff and planning skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. This full-time role includes comprehensive benefits and a focus on QA/QC improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Proficient with takeoffs, cost estimating, budgeting, bidding and preconstruction.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, Eng, or related field.
• Strong ability to lead estimating teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for ground-up, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, budgets, and bid packages.
• Manage preconstruction schedules, bid scopes, and procurement plans.
• Review plans/specs, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor/vendor bids.
• Collaborate with project teams to align budgets and project goals.
• Mentor junior estimators and support estimating best practices.
• Maintain cost databases and historical pricing.
• Prepare bid proposals and executive cost presentations.
• Improve estimating processes, accuracy, and QA/QC standards.
