Qualifications
- 7+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Tilt-Up and/or Medical Office Building experience highly preferred.
- Ability to independently prepare detailed estimate analyses and quantity takeoffs.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and subcontractor scopes.
- Experience with conceptual estimates, hard bids, negotiated budgets, and GMP proposals.
Responsibilities
- Review plans; determine the scope of work for each trade.
- Verify plans against site conditions and prepare bid invitations.
- Coordinate distribution of bid documents and RFIs to subs.
- Prepare project budget and comprehensive proposal of inclusions/exclusions.
- Turnover package preparation and support to Project Management.
