Job summary

gpac is partnering with a well-established commercial General Contractor in Columbus, Ohio, to hire a Senior Estimator. You will join a growing team and focus on estimating ground-up commercial projects, preparing detailed budgets and bid proposals, and providing accurate cost projections.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of estimating experience, strong knowledge of subcontractor pricing, project costs, margins, and a collaborative approach with clients, architects and subs.

A well-established commercial General Contractor with a strong backlog of projects is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team. Estimator Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience estimating ground-up commercial construction projects
• Diverse commercial construction experience across multiple project types preferred
• Ability to prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and bid proposals
• Strong understanding of subcontractor scopes, pricing, project costs, and margins
• Experience pricing, tracking, and negotiating change orders and project costs
• Ability to analyze project profitability and contribute to accurate cost projections
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
