Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Civil Estimator to lead the Civil Precon Department. You will oversee and present competitive cost estimates for paving projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires 5+ years of civil estimating experience, strong intent to win bids, and proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and related tools. You will mentor junior estimators and help develop estimating templates.

Qualifications

We are searching for an experienced Estimator in Nashville to lead our Civil Precon Department.

As our Senior Civil Estimator - you will oversee, approve & present our competitive cost estimates for all paving projects we perform. Furthermore, Your expertise will directly impact the company’s ability to win more work and execute on those potential projects -- so We are looking for the Right Person to lead ( and grow) our preconstruction team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an estimator in the civil industry.
• Proven track record of estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, paving, grading, etc).
• Proficient in necessary software is preferred including Excel, Bluebeam (+ HeavyBid,, Bid-To-Win, AGTEK -preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication, client/business development and negotiation abilities.
• Sense of Urgency on submitting complete bids (on time) is absolutely essential.
