Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Principal Project Engineer to lead large-scale biopharma manufacturing projects (>$10M) focused on CAPEX and OPEX optimization. You will drive timely delivery to support site strategy, manufacturing continuity, and patient supply.

You will mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver critical process documentation while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across biologics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering or project management experience.
• Preferred PE, EIT, or PMP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex engineering solutions.
• Develop and execute project plans and technical documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, specifications).
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk; mentor junior engineers.
